Paola Aseron is a commercial photographer based in Manila.

Although Paola had obtained a degree in Music, she discovered that there’s more adventure behind the lens than behind the keys. She eventually traded in music rehearsals to spend most of her time in the darkroom. Fresh out of college, she immediately got in a commercial portrait studio, and then became the first in-house female photographer for a leading magazine publication in Manila.

As a freelancer, her work that encompasses everything from portraits, to food to interiors, has now been widely published and has gained recognition from industry insiders. Paola believes that the spark to every project is creative collaboration.  With the team of stylists, or designers, or chefs, her versatility directs the shoot into a harmonious execution of a concept. Her assignments have taken her far away from her comfortable mattress but she dreams of eventually shooting the Northern Lights while cuddled up to her husband and 3 furry doggos.
